Dhurries are flatweave, woven rugs. They are thin versus knotted and tufted rugs. Ours are 1/4" to 3/8" thick with matching binding and matching fiber fringe. Being a flatweave, the design is the same on both sides of the rug!

And the best part is the low price! Cotton dhurries are $5.75/sq. foot. Wool dhurries are $7.00/sq. foot. Rayon Chenille dhurries are $12.50/sq. foot.

Dhurries are available in most regular rug sizes. We will offer these designs in 2'x3', 3'x5', 4'x6', 5'x7', 6'x9', 8'x10', 9'x12'. These prices are good for a limited time. Please note that due to our manufacturer requiring minimum order quantities on dhurries, we can not offer customized dhurries. We are limited to selling dhurries that are in stock.

The Insider's List is an hour long program with host Julie Moran and business insiders as they reveal trade secrets for a variety of products and services. Aspen Carpet Designs was chosen to be featured on an hour long program about area rugs. The producers chose us for our unique niche in Prairie School design rugs. They talked to us about how our clients can customize high quality rugs via the internet. An interview with us in our studio and an interview with a client who chose Aspen Carpet Designs to design custom area rugs for his original Walter Burley Griffin designed Prairie School style home are featured in our segment of the show. Several rugs were filmed for the show.

Prairie #3 design The colors consist of a warm beige field, and accent colors in green and rust. There is no fringe on this design.
Prairie #1 design The colors consist of a deep green field, and accent colors in yellow, and a light salmon/rust. There is no fringe on this design.

Next is the soft, luxurious Rayon Chenille dhurries. You can also hand wash these woven rugs with mild soap and they clean up great. This Prairie/Mission influenced design with a warm honey-gold field and accent colors of deep green, rust and butter yellow. This dhurry has a wool fringe. Only $12.50/sq. foot.
