An international teacher and lecturer since 1989, Jackie Robinson has authored twelve quilting books is is a National Artisan for Bernina. She is best known for her geometric patterns, creating new and expanded designs from traditional shapes. Jackie has made in excess of 400 quilts. Her quilts have been featured on the covers of Quilt World and Creative Quilting. American Patchwork and Quilting wrote a feature story about her Prairie Style quilts and then, in 1997 they selected her shop, Animas Quilts, as one of the ten shops to feature in their Sampler issue.

Classic Garden Ornaments, Ltd.,® began manufacturing LONGSHADOW® Planters, its own line of reconstituted limestone planters, in 1994. Their porous, reconstituted limestone walls conserve moisture to permit superior plant growth. They withstand all season use, developing a natural patina of mosses in shady environments. LONGSHADOW® has been specified by architects and designers for commercial, residential, university and garden settings throughout the United States. The Prairie Planters are inspired by the Chicago School of Architecture, which included Louis H. Sullivan, Marion Mahony Griffin, Walter Burley Griffin, George W. Maher, William G. Purcell, and many others.
